HOMEOPATHY

"LIKE TREAT THE LIKES"
(Hippocrates 460 B.C))
Homeopathy is based on a fundamental law, the law of similarity (SIMILIA SIMILIBUS CURENTUR) which is combined with a technique, infinitesimal dilution, and a set of natural principles that compose an original perception of the patient and his illness.
THE LAW OF SIMILARITY
Homeopathy is based entirely on this law:
IN ORDER TO BE CURED WITH THE HOMEOPATHIC METHOD, THE PATIENT MUST TAKE THE SUBSTANCE THAT IS CAPABLE OF CAUSING THE SAME SYMPTOMS IN A HEALTHY PERSON.
Homeopathic preparations are still considered by some to be “water-washes”.
However, the new natural scientists, who are advancing more and more in the knowledge of the infinitesimal, are no longer smiling. Hahnemann had simply advanced about a century and a half ahead of his time.
We should not believe that the idea of diluting substances came to him so suddenly, as a fantasy or as a trick to appear original or mysterious.
The Law of Similars, on which the edifice of Homeopathy is based, is recorded in the book “On the Places According to Man”, chap. 42, by Hippocrates: “By the same things the mind is made and by the same things offered by the sick they are healed, the same strangulation ceases not. and cough by the same asper and strangulation by them is made and ceases. by myself vomiting ceases”.
Also, in the same paragraph he mentions the Law of Opposites “powers cease in opposites”, that is, the meaning of the whole paragraph is simply “like cures like (for chronic diseases), but for acute diseases opposites”.
Homeopathy (Greek: όμοιος, pathos = disease) is a naturopathic therapeutic method developed at the end of the 18th century by the Saxon physician Samuel Hahnemann.
Definition of Homeopathy:
A form of holistic, scientific therapeutic approach. Just as there are Laws on which Physics, Chemistry, and all the Positive Sciences are based, there are also laws that govern Therapeutics. "Like cures like" is the basic law of Homeopathy.
This law mobilizes the patient's defense mechanism, strengthens it in the same way that the body itself chooses. to restore harmony.
Homeopathy maintains that each organism is unique.
It also expresses its health disorder uniquely. Each therapeutic substance is a natural substance that activates the body in a certain way.
