Master Practitioner Professional Training Diploma
What is Naturopathy
It is a multifaceted therapeutic science of prevention and treatment fully integrated and innately adapted to the nature of man. It focuses its attention on the internal endogenous nature of the therapeutic process.
“Health was given to man by the Creator Almighty God through Nature, which does not use foreign elements, but a certain harmony between spirit, life force and material processing of juices”
“Nothing dangerous or fatal happens to what is by Nature and disease is not dangerous when it naturally follows its normal course”.
“To study medicine,” says Hippocrates, “as in any other profession, it is necessary to have the natural gifts, “Nature”. Without this, it is impossible to reap good fruits.
PHYSIOPATHY - THE AUTHENTIC SCIENCE OF HEALTH - PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
NATUROPATHY IS THE MOTHER OF ALL HEALTH SCIENCES!!!!
PHYSIOPATHY is a comprehensive alternative approach that focuses not only on treating the symptoms of a disease – as is usually done in conventional medicine – but also on the deeper causes that cause it.
Purpose of Naturopathy
THE ULTIMATE GOAL of naturopathy is the prevention of diseases, which requires the “education” of the patient. “Naturopathy does not provides a miraculous solution.
It is an educational form of therapy. Patients are educated step by step regarding the overall way of natural life, nutrition, prevention and treatment.
In all cases of illness, Naturopathy comes to energetically/dynamically strengthen the Immune system using only natural means such as self-cleansing, detoxification, natural diet, clean water, rest, exercise, natural nutritional supplements (vitamins, organic salts, trace elements, herbs, homeopathic substances, acupuncture and therapeutic massage stimuli and corrective adjustments of the body. It focuses on the correct activation of the innate healing mechanisms whose proper management can address many health problems.
Naturopathic examination
The Naturopathic Physician performs a naturopathic assessment/evaluation and then together with the patient they will create a treatment program that may consist of naturopathic medicines (vitamins, mineral salts, trace elements..) homeopathic substances, rest (adequate sleep), healthy proper nutrition, abstinence from food, physiotherapy techniques, and detoxification, weight loss, stress reduction for mental and intellectual balance, increased physical activity (exercise in the fresh air and proper breathing), sufficient but not excessive exposure to sunlight and freedom from all kinds of harmful addictions such as smoking cessation, coffee, alcohol, technical fats, processed food, etc..
Naturopathy is mainly based on the therapeutic action of proper natural nutrition, fresh air, movement, rest, the sun, positive psychological influence, acupuncture and Homeopathy and Therapeutic Massage.
It is based on a philosophy that is exactly opposite to the philosophy of Conventional medicine. It believes in the teachings of Hippocrates and in the Natural Principles.
The Basic Principle of Naturopathy
Its basic principle is that treatment and restoration of health is a biological process such as digestion and assimilation of food, or the fusion and treatment of a broken bone or the healing of a wound. Naturopathy believes that the body has its own innate physiological self-healing system. When it is unable to perform its work, the cause is the person himself who does not maintain it properly, but mistreats it.
The causes are many and varied but always the same. Toxicity Infection-Blockage of the body by the abundance of impurities that accumulate and are not removed from the body.
It supports and applies the Hippocratic Principle of the Unitary of disease, diagnosis & treatment - that That is, diseases are not many but One and only – the Toxemia/Toxemia and poisoning of the body that stems from the way of life of people and therefore the diagnosis and treatment is ONE – the toxemia and the removal of toxic poisoning from the Blood.
The causes of disease for the Naturopathic Doctor are the pre-disease diseased state of the body that benefits from all kinds of unhealthy conditions (environmental, psychological, nutritional, etc.).
We believe all that Hippocrates supported: “the symptoms that the patient presents are not a disease, but the means by which the body defends itself against the disease. To make it more understandable I will give some examples:
When someone is poisoned, the result is VOMITING and DIARRHEA. The very symptoms of disease uses the body to cure the disease-the poisoning.
In this case, established medicine comes to suppress the symptoms that areas is usually done in conventional medicine - but also of the deeper causes that cause it.
