                   IGNORE THE PROPAGANDA

Pay no heed to the propaganda of elite universities that opt ​​for regional accreditation and claim superiority over institutions choosing not to submit to authoritarian independent accreditation bodies. Some universities select regional accreditation (RA) to secure state loans and grants, while extending the duration of studies and driving up tuition fees to line the pockets of university officials. Academic pressure demands for high academic performance, along with unreasonable and excessive workloads, are significant sources of stress and psychological problems for students.

UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA & WESTBROOK UNIV. ARE LICENSED & ACCREDITED

Regional Accreditation (RA) in the US is optional, Harvard and Yale are not RA like many other private universities. The main reason universities choose RA is to get loans from Stanford, Pella grants, etc. University of America and  Westbrook, like many other universities, chooses not to be part of the federal fund and for good reason.

 

 University of America and Westbrook got to part 4 of 7 with the RA to find out that they wanted our tuition to be in the hundreds of dollars per credit hour, which is not the purpose of Univ. America and Westbrook mission of "Affordable Education." This does not take away from the rigor or quality of the education.

The above mentioned Universities  follow the mandates of the U.S. Department of Education and exceeds them. Being a distance/online education, they are more strict with on UoA & Westbrook  than an on-site university.

 

 UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA & Westbrook must maintain a functioning library with over 7000 volumes, maintain records in print for 50 years, and the facility must exceed standards for the development of its teachers and faculty every 2 years, while other schools only have to report every 5 years.

 

Both universities  are on par with any university in core curriculum, rigor, quality, and proficiency.
